How to play

An idle, cozy shop-management game that runs in real time.

Your first two minutes: name the shop, hire a manager, take the first order yourself, hang your sign and hire your first helper. Every new player gets this walkthrough.

The shop runs on the real clock

Whatever time it is where you are, that is the time in the shop. Morning light, lunch crowds, evening regulars and late-night orders come and go with the real day, and the weather outside follows the real weather. The shop is only open while the app is open. Nothing runs in the background, so you never come back to a mess, a bill you missed or customers who gave up waiting.

Customers walk in on their own

Critters come in from the street, queue at the register, order, wait at the pickup counter and then sit down or take it to go. How many show up depends on the size of your floor, what is on the menu, how the place looks, the time of day and the weather. Happy customers tip and tell their friends; customers kept waiting leave.

Your team does the work

Hire critters, give them a name and put them on a station: the register, a drink or food station, customer service or cleaning. They work while you watch, and every skill levels up from the real work they do, so a barista who has made a lot of milk tea makes it faster. Your manager works the floor too.

Tap in when the line gets long

Tap a busy worker and finish their job yourself in a short mini-game: shake the tea, pour the foam, ring up the order. It is always the fastest way to clear a line, and the worker learns more from a job you helped with.

Decorate every tile

Pick up, rotate, put away or sell anything on the floor or the walls. Counters face whichever way you turn them, the queue snakes round whatever you put in its way, and there are plenty of floors, wall colours and finishes to choose from, so the same room can be soft and pink, plain and woody, or dark and bold.

Grow the menu

Learn new recipes as you earn: milk teas, fruit teas, lattes, smoothies, snacks, pastries, meals, and late-night bites and nightcaps for the night owls. Each kind of recipe is made at its own station, so the menu and the floor grow together. Put something on sale or take it off any time.

Grow the floor

Lease more room a row or a column at a time. A bigger floor is seen by more people and fits more tables and stations, and the rent grows with it. Play in portrait or turn the phone sideways.

Pay the bills

Once a week, on payday, the shop pays salaries, rent, utilities, upkeep on everything on the floor and any equipment you lease. Tips and sales cover it if the shop is doing well. No energy meter, no timers to wait out, nothing to buy to keep playing.

Visit your friends

Add a friend by code, walk into their shop, order from their menu, leave a tip and wave. Their till keeps the money, and they see your visit the next time they open the game.

Your manager, your look

Pick a critter, a fur and a blazer colour, give them a name, and they run the floor for you and call you boss.

Ready to Open?

Free to play. You open with one register, one milk tea, your manager and one helper; everything after that is yours to build.
